3. TNPSC Group 4 2026 Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the TNPSC Group 4 exam, candidates must satisfy two key requirements:

  1. Educational Qualification

  2. Age Limit

I. Group 4 Educational Qualification

The minimum educational requirement for most posts is a 10th Standard / SSLC pass. Candidates must have completed this level of education by the date of the recruitment notification.

The TNPSC recruitment pattern is structured through a systematic transparent selection procedure:

  2. Tentative Merit List: A preliminary shortlist of eligible candidates is published on the official TNPSC portal.

  3. Certificate Upload: Shortlisted candidates must scan and upload original certificates supporting their eligibility claims.
