TNPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam Pattern 2026

The Preliminary Examination is common for both Group II and Group IIA Services. It is an objective-type examination consisting of 200 questions for 300 marks.

The Preliminary Examination syllabus is divided into three major sections: General Studies, Aptitude & Mental Ability, and General Tamil or General English.
